The Creative NonFiction Collective is hosting its annual conference in Victoria, BC this year, and our own Elaine Harvey is serving as part of the conference committee, helping to oversee the various workshops, events and interactions that will be taking place this weekend, April 24th – 26th. Elaine’s first book, Encounters on the Front Line, explores her history of providing aid in Cambodia in the 1980s, and again in the 2000s. The book is more than a memoir, reaching into the hearts of the people of Cambodia, uncovering the unending humanity that came out of a terrible tragedy.
